In April 2024, we founded a new Volt group in my home area: Volt Main-Kinzig-Wetterau (MKW). I have been local co-lead of this group since then, and we are very proud of how much we’ve grown in these pasts months: We’ve almost doubled the number of our members (about twenty in spring; now, in late summer, almost fourty). We’ve established regular meetings, both online and offline, and started several functional teams that are responsible for specific tasks such as organising events, creating content for social media, and formulating policies for the upcoming local elections.
In September 2024, I started working as office manager of the parliamentary group of Volt Darmstadt. The faction consists of five members of the city parliament and two members of the Magistrat, who have all been working towards constructive solutions for Darmstadt within the lines of Volt’s goals and values. I am very happy to contribute to these efforts and to be part of such a motivated and appreciative team.
